Though Le Lignon seems rather an ensemble of buildings than a proper New Town, it has the size of a small town: designed for 10.000 people in the city Vernier, close to Geneva. It also has all the amenities of a small town: a shopping centre, schools, churches and a boxing school.
The project is appreciated and regarded as heritage.
