King Khaled International Airport Community Facilities The new town is laid out on a grid-like plan and its center is occupied by the mosque built on a plaza and flanked by a hotel, administrative, cultural and commerical buildings. Traffic is distributed from the ring road onto a network of secondary roads which subdivide the town into housing blocks, grouped to form neighbourhoods. Schools have been placed at the center of each neighbourhood.
