The masterplan for Egbin Tech Park rised on the initiative of the Sahara Group, to develop 700 ha around their Egbin power plant, the largest power plant of Western Africa.
The project area is located at the shore of the Lagos Lagoon, 25 km from the city centre of Lagos via water, and 60 km via road.
The accessibility to the area has always represented the biggest limit for development, so the creation of new connections is at the basis of the project.
Egbin Tech Park has the purpose to transform the area into a high tech business park and campus area, with a focus on the technical fields of expertise of the power plant. The development will be supported by marinas, high end residential areas and urban facilities.
